TASK A (15%)
surf the internet for grammar websites and do 15 exercises/quizzes on-line and print them out together with the score. The quizzes should be on the various word classes.

TASK B
Section 1 (40%)
i) Select an authentic text in English of about 250-300 words from any source of reference.
ii) Read and analyse the text. From the text,
a) identify 10 words comprising of 5 words classes (nouns. pronouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives)
b) identify 5 different types of sentences (simple, compound, complex).
c) Construct 5 WH questions (who, when, where, what, how)
d) Construct 5 yes/no questions.
e) Construct 5 Tag Questions.
f) Transcribe 2 sentences from the text using the phonetic transcription.
iii) For task (a) and (b) above, you need to
highlight the words and sentences you have identified in the text then present them in a table form:
Section 2 (30%)
i) based on the picture below, write a short story of about 200-250 words. You are required to use the Simple, Progressive and Perfect form of tenses in your story.
TASK C (15%)
i) Write a journal ferlection of not more than 350 words on your learning experience while undergoing this ELP course and the process of doing this assignment. In your reflection, you should:
- highlight your strengths and weaknesses
- explain the actions that you have taken to overcome the weaknesses.
- discuss the knowledge, experience and skills that you have gained.
